Modesto/Central Valley Blue Star Mothers
& Families Dues for Blue Star Mothers is 10 dollars a year. Associates membership is free
Requirements:
Blue Star Mothers
A Mother or Step Mother (a step-mother since the child is the age of 13 or younger) living in the United Statesor its Territories, of a child who is serving, or who has been Honorably or medically discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States since World War II to present is eligible for membership.
The term Armed Forces shall include Active and reserve men and women from the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force Coast Guard and National Guard; Men and women who have completed their first year and are continuing their education in the United States Army, Navy, Air Force Service Academies; and Activated Merchant Marines and Armed Home Guards.
Only Blue Star Mothers have the right to hold office and to vote
Blue Star Dads
A Father living in the United States or its Territories, of a child (biological or adopted) who is serving, or who has been honorably or medically discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States. Blue Star Dads is in the process of reorganization. Dads we need you!! Until Dads are reorganized they should apply as an associate member
Associate members
Family members and friends who do not qualify for membership may join as associate members. These members do not pay dues nor do they have any rights to hold office or vote.
